Painting and Decorating Department

Boys in Painting and decorating have completed a number of fine projects since the beginning of the new school year. A valuable statue belonging to St Rose’s School in Stroud was very carefully cleaned, restored and returned to St Rose’s, who declared it a great accomplishment by our boys.  A number of pupils received formal commendations from the Headmaster for their work on the statue. 

Several pupils also produced a full set of colourful signs that were used to guide visitors to St Edward’s for an important education conference which was led by Dr Bill Rogers, an internationally renowned specialist in behaviour management. 

In addition, there are many individual painting projects in progress either for accreditation in the Certificate of Skills in Working Life, pre-vocational course in Year 11 or as part of submissions for the GCSE course in Art and Design.
