We encourage our pupils to acquire skills that will equip them for adult life - educational and practical, as well as the skills required to get along better with other people. Our staff team is trained in the use of Reality Therapy as an important way of helping boys make the right choices and decisions about the way they behave and treat others.

Pupils at St Edward's can follow GCSE courses in English, Maths, Science, Art, Religious Studies, ICT, Physical Education and Design Technology. We also offer a strong PSHE programme and vocational courses in Horticulture and Painting and Decorating. Boys can attain a wide array of school-based accreditations and awards for participation in numerous pursuits, initiatives and in their subject areas.

Pupils continuing into Year 12 can pursue a B Tech 1st Certificate - 1st Diploma - in Sport (Outdoor Education), accompanied by a B Tech Entry Level in Living Skills and work experience placements.
