St Edward's - National Football Champions

Our six a side football team became the 2011 engage in their future champions when they won the first ever engage National Football Challenge. The squad, accompanied by their coaching staff, travelled to the Football Academy at Loughton in Essex for the tournament. Eight teams from across England competed for the title. In a nail-biting Final (which went to a penalty shoot-out), St Edward's eventually won by the slimmest of margins.

St Edward's is one of many schools in the country affiliated to engage in their future, the national association for BESD schools, and it benefits from participation in a number of creative initiatives designed to improve and extend pupils' participation in school life and help them experience success.
